about

"something about us" by ronja

is about a state of confusion and anticipation. It believes that anticipation and imagination are the purest and most reliable forms of pleasure. It’s about wild, confused words and longings that lead into stillness. It hopes that the things that never happen to us won’t fade.
____________________________________________________________

With these two tracks, Ronja defines her songwriting: candid, multi-dimensional, soft but loud, and full of heart.

Her music has become an introspective world unto itself.

Her delivery is light, insistent–the tone you would use to convey passing thoughts to your dearest person in the room.

Self-composed, self-recorded, with additional production from Luka Aron these songs are starkly drawn and colorfully embellished, created in service of each individual story.
